Unlike the other mosses in the Mosser Lee family, Sheet Moss grows in the forest, which is why it looks so natural in flower arrangements. It is also used in exhibits, zoos and aquariums. In May 2009 the John G. Shedd Aquarium remodeled the Oceanarium covering the rocks and forest floor with Mosser Lee's Natural Sheet Moss.
